How To Reach Duarsini Hill

Duarsini Hill, located near Ghatshila, is a beautiful hillock that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the town, the Subarnarekha River, and the forested landscape. The hill is a part of a larger hill system, and its cascades are a result of water flowing over a series of stepp ed rocks. The surrounding area has been developed with simple, functional elements to accommodate tourists, such as walking trails, small viewing platforms, and rest areas. There is also a small temple dedicated to Goddess Sita located near the falls, which is a simple, traditional structure made of stone and brick. The total area of the falls and its immediate surroundings is approximately 5 acres, with the falls cascading from a height of about 25 feet.

Duarsini Hill is located approximately 25 kilometers from Ghatshila town. It is easily accessible by a hired car or a local auto-rickshaw from any part of the city. The road leading to the falls is well-maintained, and the place is a well-known landmark, so finding it is not an issue.
