Madku Dweep

Madku Dweep, or Madku Island, is a small island in the Shivnath River. It is a place of great historical and religious significance, with archaeological excavations revealing a wealth of ancient temples and sculptures dating back to the Kalachuri period. The island is believed to be the "tapobhoomi" (place of meditation) of Rishi Mandukya, after whom the island is named. The island is also a popular spot for picnics and a much-needed escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
