A Divine Legend: Sidh Baba Ka Mandir is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to a local saint, Sidh Baba. It holds a unique legend associated with the Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. The Maharaja initially chose this very hilltop (situated between Rajgarh and Pandhawa) to build his ambitious summer palace. However, legend has it that Sidh Baba appeared to the Maharaja in a dream, informing him that the land was his sacred meditation ground. Respecting this divine instruction, the Maharaja promptly abandoned his palace plan and, instead, constructed this beautiful temple in 1891 to honor the saint, bestowing immense religious significance upon the site. Peaceful Ambiance and Views: The temple's location is exquisitely peaceful, surrounded by dense forests of deodar and pine trees. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, including the peaks of Chail, Kasauli, and Shimla. It is a place for quiet reflection, meditation, and seeking the blessings of the revered saint.
