Alampur Jogulamba Temple is one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Jogulamba, a fierce form of Shakti seated on a corpse. It is located at the confluence of the Tungabhadra and Krishna rivers, earning it the name Dakshina Kashi.
