Bogatha Waterfall

Kothagudem, Telangana, India
Bogatha Falls Grandeur: Known as the "Niagara of Telangana," Bogatha is the second largest waterfall in the state. The water of the Cheekupally Vagu drops over a wide rocky ledge, creating a spectacular curtain of white foam. It is surrounded by the dense forests of the Mulugu district. A large pool at the bottom is perfect for swimming and has become a major tourist attraction. The government has developed the area with a park and a watchtower for better views. The roar of the water can be heard from a distance during the peak monsoon. It is a favorite weekend getaway for people from Kothagudem, Warangal, and Hyderabad. The surrounding landscape is rich in flora and fauna, making it a hotspot for nature lovers.
