Photography/Video Fee: There is typically No Separate Fee for still photography, but using video cameras may sometimes incur a small charge within the main Gompa prayer hall. Always ask before filming.
ILP Requirement: All visitors must possess a valid Inner Line Permit (ILP) to be in the Nubra Valley region. The government-mandated permit and conservation fee (approx. Rs.500) is the major indirect fee for accessing the entire area.

Diskit Monastery Structure: The Gompa itself features a traditional multi-story layout, with a main prayer hall (Dukhang) perhaps 20 m×15 m with a 7 m ceiling height. It is built of stone and mud-brick, with characteristic red, yellow, and white paint.
