By Train: Solan Railway Station on the Kalka-Shimla line is the nearest, about 15 KMS away. From Solan, you can take a local bus or taxi to Nauni. For those coming from outside Himachal, Kalka (55 KMS) is the main station. From Kalka, you can take a taxi or the toy train to Solan.
By Road: The university is located on the Solan-Rajgarh state highway. It is well-connected to Solan (15 KMS) and Shimla (60 KMS). From Chandigarh, the distance is about 75 KMS. Regular buses ply between Solan and Rajgarh, passing right by the university gate. The road is scenic and winds through beautiful pine forests.
By Local Transport: Local buses from the Solan bus stand are very frequent and the most economical way to reach Nauni. Taxis can also be hired for a more private journey.
