Dudheshwar Nath Mandir
Mythological Heritage:This temple is an ancient and highly revered pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva, popularly known as Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mahadev Mandir. Mythology holds that the Shivling found here is Swayambhu (self-manifested) and dates back nearly 5000 years, linking it to the period o f Mahabharata. It is believed to be the site where Ravana's father, Vishrava, performed penance and where Ravana himself also worshipped, giving it immense spiritual significance. The central deity is a Shivling located several feet below ground level. It is a major center for Shiva devotees in the entire Delhi-NCR region.:
