Gupteshwar Caves
Gupteshwar Caves is a world-renowned pilgrimage and natural wonder located on the banks of the Sabari River. The name "Gupteshwar" means "The Hidden God," referring to the massive natural Shiva Lingam hidden inside a limestone cave. Legend has it that the Lingam was discovered by a hunter and was l ater popularized by the Maharajah of Jeypore. The cave is situated on a lush green hill and requires a climb of about 200 steps.
