History Of Dzuluk (Zuluk)
Dzuluk, also spelled Zuluk, is a small, picturesque hamlet nestled in the eastern part of Sikkim, close to the Indo-China border. Situated at a high altitude of around 3,700 meters (12,139 feet), Dzuluk is renowned for its mesmerizing, serpentine road with numerous hairpin bends, offering breathtak ing panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks, including Kanchenjunga. This relatively offbeat destination provides a tranquil escape and a unique perspective of the Eastern Himalayas, rich in natural beauty and dotted with historical and religious sites. Permits are required to visit Dzuluk due to its proximity to the international border.
