How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Swami Vivekananda International Airport (RPR) in Raipur (approx. 380 KMS), followed by a taxi or bus ride to Ambikapur (approx. 55 KMS to Mainpat), then local transport to the falls, the total travel time from the airport can be around 8-10 hours.

By Train: The nearest major railway station is Ambikapur Railway Station (ABKP) (approx. 55 KMS), which is connected to cities like Raipur and Jabalpur, from the station, one can hire a taxi directly to Aam Gaon Water Fall or take a bus to Mainpat market and then a local vehicle.

By Road: Mainpat is well-connected to Ambikapur via a scenic state highway (NH 133A), the distance from Ambikapur to Mainpat is about 55 KMS, and the further 7 KMS to the falls involves a local, unpaved road suitable for two-wheelers or sturdy SUVs, private taxis are the most convenient option.

By Local Transport: From the Mainpat central market, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw or a bike taxi, but the final section of the path often requires a short trek (10-15 minutes) on foot through the forest, a true off-road experience.
