How to Reach
By Air: From Ranchi Airport, one must travel to Garhwa and then hire a private vehicle for the last leg of the journey.
By Train: Garhwa Road Junction is about 35 KMS away; hiring a private taxi from the station is the most reliable option.
By Road: Take the internal district roads toward Sendha; while the roads are paved, they are narrow and pass through several villages.
By Local Transport: Very limited public transport exists to the dam itself; it is highly recommended to use a private or rented bike/car.
