By Train: Nearest major railhead is Guwahati Railway Station. From Guwahati, hire a cab directly to Mawlynnong (approx. 4-5 hours drive).
By Road: Mawlynnong is well-connected by road from Shillong (approx. 3 hours) and Dawki (approx. 1 hour). Shared sumos/taxis are available from the Bara Bazaar area in Shillong. Self-driving is popular.
Local Transport: From the village center, it's a short, pleasant walk of about 15-20 minutes.
