How To Reach Bangladesh Viewpoint
Mawlynnong, Meghalaya, India
The viewpoint is a tall, impressive eco-friendly structure known as the Sky View, constructed entirely of bamboo and ropes, built high on a tree. Climbing the structure offers a breathtaking, 360-degree panoramic vista. On a clear day, one can clearly see the lush green plains of Bangladesh stretchi ng out on the horizon, immediately contrasting with the hilly terrain of Meghalaya in India. The experience is a thrilling walk high above the village, providing a unique perspective of the Indo-Bangla border landscape and the surrounding dense forests.

How to Reach

By Air: Nearest airport is Shillong Airport or Guwahati International Airport. Then, hire a taxi.

By Train: Nearest railhead is Guwahati. From there, hire a car to Mawlynnong.

By Road: The viewpoint is easily reachable by road, situated on the approach road to the main village. It is a short drive from the village center.

Local Transport: The most common way to reach is by a hired taxi or walking from the main village center (about 2 KMS).
