By Train: The closest major railway station is Jammu Tawi Railway Station (JAT), over 440 KMS away. The extensive onward journey to Drass involves a bus or taxi ride through Srinagar and across the mountain passes.
By Road: The site is located directly off National Highway 1D (NH1), slightly to the east of Drass town, making it exceptionally easy to reach by any vehicle traveling between Drass and Kargil. It is a mandatory stop for all taxi and bus tours passing this section.
By Local Transport: From the main market area of Drass, a local taxi, shared cab, or even a determined trek (around 7-8 KMS) can take you directly to the location, as it is visible from the road.
