By Foot is the Only Way to Enter the Village@:

By Air@: Fly to Bhuntar Airport (KUU), which is the closest airport (approx. 31 KMS away). From Bhuntar, hire a local taxi to Kasol Bus Stand (approx. 1 hour drive, Rs.1000-Rs.1500), or take a local bus.

By Train@: The nearest major railway station is Joginder Nagar Railway Station (JDN) (approx. 145 KMS away), which is a narrow-gauge line. The nearest broad-gauge station is Chandigarh Railway Station (CDG) (approx. 295 KMS away). From either station, you must take a bus or hire a taxi to Kasol.

By Road@: Take an overnight volvo bus or private taxi from major cities like Delhi or Chandigarh directly to Kasol. Once at the Kasol Bus Stand, walk towards the main bridge crossing the Parvati River (approx. 5-10 minutes walk).

By Local Transport@: From Kasol town center, you must walk across the Suspension Bridge and follow the well-marked forest trail for about 20-30 minutes (approx. 1. 5 KMS) to reach Chalal Village. The entire route is pedestrianized.
