How to Reach

By Air: Nearest airport is Guwahati (GAU) (Assam, approx. 190 KMS), followed by a 6-7 hour road journey via Shillong. Shared taxis are the cheapest and most common way from Shillong to Dawki.

By Train: Nearest major railhead is Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) (Assam, approx. 175 KMS). From GHY, take a taxi or bus to Shillong, then hire a local cab to Dawki.

By Road: Dawki is well-connected by NH206. It’s about 85 KMS from Shillong. Regular shared taxis (sumos) and private vehicles run frequently.

By Local Transport: From the town, it is a short walk from the Dawki Bridge area. Local transport is mainly on foot or hired local taxis/autorickshaws for the immediate vicinity.
