By Train: The main railway station is Dumka Railway Station (DUMK), which is well-connected to major cities like Ranchi, Kolkata, and Patna. Once you arrive at DUMK, the Jatra Ground is a relatively short distance away, easily reachable by a local auto-rickshaw or e-rickshaw (approximately 3-4 KMS).
By Road: Dumka is situated on important state highways (e. g. , connected to NH-114A and NH-333A), ensuring excellent road connectivity. Regular and comfortable bus services (Jharkhand State Road Transport and private operators) are available from surrounding cities like Ranchi, Deoghar, Bhagalpur, and Massanjore. Self-driving is a good option, with good road conditions on major routes.
By Local Transport: Within Dumka town, the most convenient and cost-effective ways to reach the Jatra Ground are via Auto-rickshaws and E-rickshaws. They are readily available from the railway station, bus stand, and all major chowks, and the fare should be negotiated beforehand. Local cycle-rickshaws are also an option for shorter distances.
