By Train: Kottayam Railway Station is the major railhead located 18 KMS away. From the station, you can take a KSRTC bus or a private auto-rickshaw to reach the village.
By Road: Kallara is well-connected by road to Kottayam and Vaikom. Regular private and KSRTC buses ply on this route.
By Local Transport: Auto-rickshaws are the most convenient way to move within the village, though walking is highly recommended for sightseeing.
