By Air@: Fly to Bhuntar Airport (KUU) (approx. 31 KMS). From the airport, take a pre-booked taxi (approx. Rs.1000 to Rs.1500) or an airport shuttle/local bus directly to the Kasol Bus Stand (approx. 1 hour drive).
By Train@: The nearest broad-gauge railway station is Chandigarh Railway Station (CDG) (approx. 295 KMS). From Chandigarh, take an overnight tourist Volvo Bus (Private or HRTC) which terminates directly at the Kasol Bus Stand (approx. 8-10 hours).
By Road@: The most common way. Take an overnight Volvo Bus from Delhi (ISBT Kashmiri Gate) or Chandigarh directly to Kasol. The bus stand is located right on the main Manikaran Road in the town center.
By Local Transport@: For short distances within Kasol town, the bus stand is easily reached by walking. For nearby villages, the Taxi Stand at the bus stand offers shared cabs and private taxis to places like Manikaran (taxi fare approx. Rs.300-Rs.400) or Barshaini (taxi fare approx. Rs.800-Rs.1000 for a private cab).
