The Marleshwar Temple is a magnificent cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, nestled in the Sahyadri mountain range near Sangameshwar. To reach the cave, devotees must climb approximately 520 to 540 steps, which offers a moderate trek through lush green surroundings and fresh mountain air. By Air: The nearest major airport is Mumbai (BOM), about 330 KM away, or the smaller Ratnagiri Airport which has limited connectivity.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Sangameshwar Road on the Konkan Railway, located about 30 KM from the temple site.

By Road: It is well-connected by the Mumbai-Goa Highway (NH66); take a diversion at Sangameshwar toward Devrukh to reach Maral.

By Local Transport: State Transport (ST) buses run regularly from Ratnagiri and Devrukh to Maral, and auto-rickshaws are available for the final stretch.
