Details of Rani Sati Temple: The Rani Sati Temple near Rourkela is a highly revered Hindu pilgrimage site, located in the town of Birmitrapur. It is famously known as the second Jhun-Jhun Dham of India, after the original temple in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The temple is dedicated to Rani Sati (also kno wn as Narayani Devi), a figure historically associated with the practice of Sati, though the temple focuses on her strength, sacrifice, and divinity as a Mother Goddess (Dadi Ji). The temple complex, which spans about 2 acres of land, features stunning architecture, primarily built with pristine white marble. It was established before 1967 and has undergone significant renovations in 1992 and 2000. The structure is beautifully adorned with intricate paintings and crowned with a golden pot on its spire, giving it a palatial appearance. How to Reach

By Air: The nearest major airport is Veer Surendra Sai Airport (VSS) in Jharsuguda (JRG), approximately 113 KMS away. Travelers can take a taxi to Rourkela and then connect to Birmitrapur.

By Train: The most convenient option is to take a train to Rourkela Railway Station (ROU), which is about 13 KMS from the temple (located in Birmitrapur). From Rourkela Station, numerous auto-rickshaws, private taxis, and local buses are available to take you directly to the temple in Birmitrapur.

By Road: The temple is located on the road leading to Birmitrapur, accessible via the NH-143 from Rourkela. One can easily hire a private taxi or take one of the regular local buses operating between Rourkela and Birmitrapur.

By Local Transport: From Rourkela, the best options are a hired auto-rickshaw or a private taxi. Given the distance of 35 KMS from the city center, a dedicated hired vehicle for a round trip is the most comfortable and reliable choice. :
