From there, you can take a domestic flight to Birsa Munda Airport (IXR) in Ranchi (approx. 160 KMS from Giridih) or to Gaya Airport (GAY) (approx. 190 KMS from Giridih). From the airport, one must hire a taxi or take a train/bus to Giridih. Kolkata offers better international connectivity, while Ranchi is geographically closer, offering more frequent domestic flight options. Ensure to pre-book a reliable cab service for the final leg of the journey. :

By Train (Nearest Station:
