By Train: The Karaikal Railway Station (KIK) is the nearest station, located about 10 KMS from the temple. From KIK, one must hire an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to reach Thiruvettakudy village. Travelers should negotiate the fare in advance as the temple is outside the main town area. The train connects Karaikal to major hubs in Tamil Nadu.
By Road: Karaikal is well-connected by bus to major cities. From the Karaikal Bus Stand, one can take a local town bus that travels towards Thiruvettakudy or Tharangambadi (Tranquebar), as the temple is situated on the East Coast Road (ECR) section near the village. A private taxi or an auto-rickshaw hired from the main town offers a more direct and comfortable ride.
By Local Transport: Reaching this temple requires a specific local transport service from Karaikal town, due to its distance (10 KMS). Local buses that ply the ECR are the most economical option. For a quicker journey, an auto-rickshaw is suitable, but ensure the fare is fixed for the two-way trip (including waiting time) before starting, as it is a remote location. ()
