How to Reach

By Air: The nearest major airport is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) in Guwahati, Assam (Approx. 220 KMS). From Guwahati, hire a pre-paid taxi or take a shared taxi (sumo service) directly to Tura. The journey can take around 6-7 hours. Alternatively, fly to Shillong Airport (SHL) (Approx. 310 KMS) and then take a taxi to Tura.

By Train: The closest major railway station is Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) (Assam) (Approx. 220 KMS). From the station, you can easily find buses or shared taxi services heading towards Tura. The road journey from the station is scenic but long.

By Road: Tura is well-connected by National Highway (NH-17 and then NH-217). Regular State Transport Buses (ASTC/MST) and private luxury buses operate daily between Guwahati and Tura. Shared taxi services (like Tata Sumos) are the most popular and frequent mode of transport, offering point-to-point travel in about 6 hours. Within Tura, the park is centrally located, making it easy to reach.

By Local Transport: Once in Tura, you can reach the park quickly and affordably by hiring a local Auto-rickshaw or a local taxi. Shared local taxis also operate along major routes and can drop you off very close to the park's entrance for a minimal fare. It is located near the Akonggre locality. :
