Kedareswar Temple
Kedareswar Temple is a hidden architectural jewel located on a high hilltop in the Mauranipur region. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and dates back to the Chandela period in the 12th century. The most striking feature of the temple is the unique Shiva Linga which is placed on the ba ck of Nandi (the bull). To reach the temple, visitors must climb approximately 600 stone steps, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding lush greenery and hills. The temple is built entirely of stone, reflecting the robust and artistic style of the Bundelkhand heritage.
