Rustic Tourism Infrastructure : The architecture at the Pelga Falls Viewpoint is designed to be unobtrusive and functional. The main viewpoint platform is a reinforced concrete structure built onto the cliffside, measuring 15 feet by 12 feet, with a safety railing height of 4 feet.
Dimensions: The most impressive architectural feat nearby is the Garo Bamboo Bridge, which spans approximately 100 feet across the river and is constructed entirely of tied bamboo poles and cane vines. This bridge is a masterpiece of indigenous engineering, capable of supporting the weight of several people despite its delicate appearance. The footpath leading to the falls consists of 120 stone steps carved into the hillside. Small thatched-roof gazebos are scattered around the picnic area, providing shade and seating. These structures use traditional "Jhum" cultivation huts as design inspiration, featuring low eaves and open sides to allow the breeze from the waterfall to circulate. -
