Small community-led cleanup drives are also organized here periodically, which often turn into social events with music and food. During the local Garo festivals, you might see small groups in traditional attire visiting the site for photography. It is a place that reflects the daily social life of Tura rather than large-scale commercial events. :Best Photo Spots:

It offers a quick slice of nature for students, families, and busy professionals. It is also famous for its safe swimming conditions during the post-monsoon months, as the current is not overwhelmingly strong. The falls are a favorite spot for local school excursions and environmental awareness walks. For tourists, it serves as an excellent "starter" destination before they head out to the more remote waterfalls of the Garo Hills. Its fame lies in its simplicity and the ease with which one can enjoy a natural wonder. : -

The rocks are primarily composed of schist and gneiss, which have been smoothed over millennia by the water's action. The natural pool at the base is roughly 20 meters wide and has a maximum depth of 1. 5 meters during the monsoon. A small stone pathway and a concrete viewing platform have been added to facilitate visitor movement. The surrounding banks are reinforced with natural boulders to prevent erosion. The layout of the site allows for multiple vantage points, both from the top of the fall and from the rocky banks below. : -
