Place Details: Eco Park is a beautifully maintained plateau-top park developed by the Meghalaya Government to provide tourists with spectacular panoramic views of the "Green Canyons" of Cherrapunji. On a clear day, the silver threads of rivers winding through the Bangladeshi lowlands are visible in the distance. The park is home to a variety of indigenous orchids, housed in a specialized greenhouse, and features several small streams that eventually plunge over the cliff side to form the famous Seven Sisters Falls. The landscape is characterized by rolling green meadows, well-paved walking paths, and a serene atmosphere that makes it a favorite for families and nature enthusiasts.
