Kynrem Falls is one of the highest and most spectacular waterfalls in India, plunging from a massive height of nearly 305 meters. Located within the serene Thangkharang Park, this waterfall is unique because it cascades down in three distinct tiers, creating a visual symphony of white foam against dark green cliffs. The falls are particularly majestic during the monsoon season when the volume of water increases significantly, sending a cool mist across the viewing platforms. Unlike many other falls in Cherrapunji that are viewed from across a gorge, Kynrem Falls offers a closer perspective as the road actually passes right across the base of the waterfall.
