Packing: Carry your own water and light snacks, as commercial facilities are almost non-existent. A light jacket is recommended even during the day, due to the breeze. Carry a trash bag to ensure you take all your litter back.
Accommodation: Stay in the resorts/homestays near the Mainpat central village (Kamleshwarpur) or Ambikapur. There is no accommodation near the point itself.
Other: Hiring a local guide or driver who knows the small local roads is highly recommended for navigation.
