Things To Do

  • ...
Trekking and Swimming: The primary activity is the adventurous 20-minute trek down the bamboo ladders. Once at the base, visitors enjoy photography and dipping their feet in the cold, clear water. Swimming is generally discouraged due to the depth and current, but many enjoy sitting on the boulders. Nature photography is at its peak here, especially long-exposure shots of the tiers. It is a great spot for forest bathing and listening to the echoes of the waterfall. Bird watching along the trail is also rewarding. Many travelers combine this with a visit to the nearby Dainthlen Falls. The trek back up is a great physical workout. Exploring the different rock layers provides a close-up look at the geological formation of the plateau. ...
