It is an earthen dam with a concrete spillway designed to manage the water flow from the catchment areas of the surrounding hills. The dam wall stretches significantly across the valley, creating a massive reservoir. The height of the structure is approximately 25 meters, and the length of the embankment is nearly 500 meters. The stone pitching on the reservoir side prevents erosion, while the downstream side is covered with natural grass. There is a small bridge-like walkway over the spillway area which allows visitors to cross and get a panoramic view of both the water body and the valley below. -
