Wooden Craftsmanship: The most striking feature is the exquisite teakwood construction, especially the large wooden pillars, beams, and the wooden ceiling, which is beautifully decorated with canvas-painted floral patterns.
Fresco Masterpieces: The walls are covered with vibrant and intricate frescoes. The outer walls depict grand historical scenes, primarily the war scenes of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan's victory over Colonel Bailey's army in 1780. The interior walls are adorned with beautiful floral motifs, geometrical patterns, and portraits of contemporary rulers.
Layout: The palace is rectangular with open corridors running along its four sides. It is divided into four rooms at the corners with a main central hall, all linked by open bays with pillars. Four staircases provide access to the upper chambers (Zenana quarters).
