History and Significance: The structure in Sohna is known locally as Quto Khan Ki Masjid or a tomb associated with Qutub Khan. It is a medieval structure constructed of local red sandstone and rubble. While some sources link a Qutub Khan's Tomb in Gurgaon to Adam Khan of the Akbar era (18th century) , the structure in Sohna is specifically cited as a rectangular masjid-tomb complex from the earlier Indo-Islamic period. It is now largely abandoned, sadly being used by locals for storage. Its design is typical of the early Sultanate period architecture in the region. The building serves as an important, tangible link to the long history of Sohna as a regional hub. Current Use: It is currently not in use as a mosque but remains a site of architectural interest, illustrating the simple yet elegant style of early structures.
