By Train: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is the closest major station, about 155 Kms away, taking 7-8 hours by road.
By Road: From Zuluk, it is a 26 Kms drive through the Old Silk Route. The road is steep and winding, requiring a sturdy vehicle like a Bolero or Scorpio.
By Local Transport: You must hire a registered luxury taxi from Gangtok, Rongli, or Zuluk, as private small cars are often restricted on these high-altitude roads.
Safety Note: Ensure your driver is experienced with mountain driving and that your vehicle has the necessary permits to enter the restricted zone.
