Health & Safety: High altitude can cause AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). Carry portable oxygen and stay hydrated.

Packing: Even in summer, heavy woolens, gloves, and caps are a must.

Accommodation: Very limited near the lake; most stay in Zuluk or Nathang Valley.

Cash & Connectivity: No ATMs nearby; carry sufficient cash. Mobile network is almost non-existent (only BSNL might work occasionally).

Permits: Keep 5 copies of your ID and photos ready for multiple army checkpoints.
