By Train: The nearest major railway station is Bhadrachalam Road Railway Station (BDCR), located in Kothagudem town, roughly 15-20 KM from the pond. Travelers can easily hire an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi from the station.

By Road: The pond is located close to the main roads connecting Kothagudem and Paloncha. The state highway network is excellent, and it is a straightforward drive from Kothagudem. Regular state-run buses ply between Kothagudem and Paloncha, and one can alight at the nearest point and walk or take a cycle-rickshaw.
