How to Reach

By Air (Nearest Airport): The nearest major airport is Birsa Munda Airport (IXR) in Ranchi, approximately 165 KMS away. From Ranchi airport, one can hire a pre-paid taxi or take a bus service to Medininagar (Daltonganj), a journey that takes about 4-5 hours. Smaller regional flights might occasionally connect through Gaya International Airport (GAY) in Bihar, which is also a feasible, but less direct, option.

By Train (Railway Station): Medininagar has its own railway station, Daltonganj Railway Station (DTO), which is well-connected to major cities like Ranchi, Patna, Kolkata, and Delhi. The station is very close to the city center and the park. From the railway station, the park is easily reachable via a short auto-rickshaw ride or local taxi (approx. 1-2 KMS).

By Road (Bus/Car): Medininagar (Daltonganj) is connected by National Highway 39 (NH 39) and has excellent road connectivity. Regular and reliable bus services (both state-run and private) operate from major cities of Jharkhand and neighboring states like Bihar and Chhattisgarh. For private vehicles, the drive is smooth, and the park is easy to locate using GPS, being close to the Police Line area.

By Local Transport (Within City): The park is easily accessible from any part of Medininagar using local auto-rickshaws (the most common form of transport), shared taxis, or cycle rickshaws.
