The original fort structure was purportedly built in the 17th Century by Nawab Saif Khan, who was a devotee of Guru Tegh Bahadur. While much of the original Bahadurgarh structure has succumbed to time and encroachment, its historical significance as a checkpoint and defensive structure remains paramount. The complex, in its prime, would have included ramparts, a moat, and various internal buildings. By Air: Nearest major airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi (DEL) (approx. 45 KMS).

By Train: Nearest railway station is Bahadurgarh Railway Station (BGZ) (approx. 3 KMS from the center, then local transport to the fort's location).

By Road: Best reached by local taxi or auto-rickshaw from the main Bahadurgarh City area; follow the local roads leading outwards, often past industrial zones or towards the older parts of the city.

Local Transport: Hired auto-rickshaws are the most reliable way to reach the exact location of the scattered remnants, which may require a short walk off the main road.
