How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Jubbarhatti Airport (SLV), 22 KMS away. Chandigarh Airport (IXC) is the nearest major hub, 115 KMS away. From the airport, hire a pre-paid taxi to Shimla. Since the church is on the pedestrian-only Ridge, the taxi will drop you at the Lift (near the Cart Road) or at the closest vehicle-accessible point, from where you take the lift/walk to The Mall Road and then walk to the church.

By Train: The nearest broad-gauge station is Kalka (KLK, 96 KMS), followed by the scenic Kalka-Shimla Toy Train to Shimla Railway Station (SML). The church is about 2 KMS from the station. From the station, you can hire a cab to the Lift or walk up the hill to The Ridge.

By Road: Inter-state buses stop at Shimla ISBT (or Tutikandi Bus Stand). From the bus stand, you must take a local taxi or cab to the Lift area on Cart Road. The church is easily reachable from there via the municipal lift and a short walk across The Ridge.

By Local Transport:

The church's location is its defining factor: it is only accessible on foot. From any part of The Mall Road or the lower access points on Cart Road, it is a very short, pleasant walk. The Municipal Lift is the most convenient way to quickly ascend from the Cart Road to The Mall Road/The Ridge level. :
