By Train: Aluva and Angamali are the closest stations, about 115 KMS away; take a bus to Munnar and then a local taxi to the Old Devikulam village area.
By Road: The lake is located just 13 KMS from Munnar town on the road toward Thekkady; the drive takes about 25 minutes through scenic tea plantations and hills.
By Local Transport: Hiring a private jeep or a taxi from the Munnar taxi stand is the most reliable way to reach the lake, as public bus frequency to the village is limited.
