How to Reach
By Air: Fly to Agatti Aerodrome (AGX) from Kochi (Kerala). The distance from Agatti to Kavaratti is approximately 54 KMS by sea.
By Train: Nearest major railway station is Ernakulam Junction (ERS) in Kochi.
By Road: No road connection to the mainland.
By Local Transport: From Agatti, take the inter-island ferry or speedboat to Kavaratti. Once at the Kavaratti jetty, the center is easily reached by a short ride or a brisk walk. The location is known to all local autorickshaw drivers (if available) and is adjacent to other key attractions like the Marine Aquarium and the Desalination Plant. Many tourists choose to rent a bicycle or a scooter for the duration of their stay on Kavaratti, which offers the flexibility to reach the center early in the morning for dive sessions. The island's narrow roads are well-suited for this type of light transport, and the entire journey from the center of town takes less than 10 minutes. Bookings for dives and courses should be made at the center or through the SPORTS office as soon as you arrive.
