How to Reach
By Air: The nearest airport is Dimapur Airport (DMU). From Dimapur, hire a private taxi or take a shared cab to Kohima (approx. 74 KMS / 3-4 hours). From Kohima to Dzulekie (approx. 40 KMS / 1. 5-2 hours), hire a dedicated local taxi, as shared taxis are not common on this final stretch. The total journey takes about 5-6 hours minimum.
By Train: The nearest major railway station is Dimapur Railway Station (DMU), which is well-connected to cities like Guwahati and Kolkata. From Dimapur, follow the same road route as 'By Air' to Kohima and then to Dzulekie.
By Road: Kohima is the gateway. The drive from Kohima to Dzulekie is scenic but on a rough, winding mountain road; a high-clearance vehicle is advisable. The road often passes close to Khonoma village (10 KMS away), the famous 'Green Village'. There is no public bus service to Dzulekie.
By Local Transport: The only local transport option is to pre-arrange a private taxi (usually a Tata Sumo or equivalent) from Kohima for a return trip, or to utilize a homestay-arranged pick-up service from Kohima or Khonoma.
