By Train: The nearest main railway hub is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station, about 115 KMS away. NJP is well-connected nationally. From the station, you must hire a direct taxi or a shared cab, which are readily available. The road journey from the station follows similar routes as from the airport.
By Road: Lolegaon is accessible by road from Siliguri, Kalimpong (56 KMS), and Darjeeling. The most common route passes through the town of Lava, which is just 24 KMS away. The road from Lava is the most challenging section, being narrow and steep. State buses are infrequent; private taxis or shared Jeeps are the preferred mode of transport.
By Local Transport: Within Lolegaon, the Eco Park is only a 1. 5 KMS walk from the central market area. This walk is pleasant and highly recommended. Local taxi services are available for those who prefer not to walk, particularly for the early morning sunrise trip.
