By Train: Lakshadweep is an archipelago and has no railway connectivity. The nearest major railway station is Ernakulam Junction (ERS) or Kochi in Kerala. From Kochi, the only way is to take a flight to Agatti or a ship to Amini.
By Road: Similarly, Amini Island is only accessible by sea and air, so road travel is only possible up to Kochi, Kerala. From Kochi, all travel is by ship or plane.
By Local Transport: Once on Amini Island, the Jumaat Mosque is centrally located within the main settlement. You can easily reach it By Walk from the main jetty or your accommodation, as the island is small (approx. 2. 7 km long). Alternatively, local, small Auto-Rickshaws or Two-Wheeler Taxis are available to cover the short distance. The ride should be very quick, perhaps just a few minutes, with the fare negotiated beforehand.
Logistics Note: Remember that entry to the island requires a special permit, and all transport must be arranged through authorized agents or the Lakshadweep Administration. The mosque itself is easily reached By Walk within the village from the center.
