How to Reach
By Train: The nearest railway station is Bhadrachalam Road Railway Station (BDCR) in Kothagudem (25 KM from the sanctuary's entrance). Taxis and hired cabs are the most reliable option for the final leg of the journey.
By Road: The sanctuary is well-connected by NH-30. The entry point is near Paloncha (12 KM) and easily reachable from Kothagudem (25 KM). State-run buses and private vehicles can drive to the gate and dam area.
By Local Transport: A hired cab or private vehicle is mandatory to cover the large distances and traverse the forest roads within the sanctuary. Auto-rickshaws can take you to the gate, but cannot be used for the safari inside.
