How To Reach Kondamadugu Hill

Kondamadugu Hill is a prominent geological formation and an adventure destination located near the Bibinagar area, on the way to Bhongir. Known for its massive boulders and challenging rock faces, it has become a "mecca" for rock climbers, rappellers, and trekkers from the Hyderabad region. Unlike t he more structured steps of Bhongir Fort, Kondamadugu offers a more "wild" experience where one often has to scramble over rocks and navigate through scrubby trails. The hill provides a stunning 360-degree view of the surrounding rural landscape, including the Bibinagar AIIMS campus and the distant railway lines. It is a place of rugged beauty, where the sheer scale of the granite boulders makes human visitors feel small. The area is also known as "Tiger Hills" locally, though no tigers have been seen here for generations; the name adds to the site's adventurous allure. For those who are not into extreme climbing, the lower slopes offer a peaceful environment for bouldering and nature walks. The ecosystem here is typical of the Deccan, with hardy trees and shrubs growing in the crevices of the rocks. How to Reach

Access Route:

By Air: From Hyderabad Airport (65 KM), take the ORR and exit toward the Warangal Highway.

By Train: The nearest station is Bibinagar (5 KM away). You can take a local "MMTS" or passenger train from Secunderabad.

By Road: Take the NH163 (Hyderabad-Warangal). Turn left at Bibinagar junction and drive toward Kondamadugu village.

By Local Transport: Shared autos and local buses from Bibinagar are the most convenient way to reach the base from the highway.
