taxi
to
Umsning,
followed
by
a
local
ride
to
Lailad.

Train
:
From
Guwahati
Railway
Station,
take
a
shared
cab
to
Umsning
and
then
a
local
"Maruti
800"
taxi
to
the
trailhead.
By
Road
:
Take
the
turn-off
from
the
main
highway
at
Umsning
and
follow
the
internal
village
roads
for
8
KMS.
Local
Transport
:
Local
taxis
are
the
only
way
to
reach
the
village,
as
public
buses
do
not
frequent
this
interior
route.
