How to Reach

By Air:: The nearest major airport is Pune International Airport (PNQ), approximately 120 KMS away. From Pune, hire a taxi or use a pre-booked car service to reach Mahabaleshwar, which takes about 3-4 hours. Mumbai International Airport (BOM) is about 260 KMS away and is a less convenient option for direct transit.

By Train:: The most convenient railhead is Pune Railway Station (120 KMS), with the closest being Satara (STR, 60 KMS). From either station, take a bus or a private taxi. The final road journey to Mahabaleshwar is essential.

By Road (Self-Drive/Bus):: The point is located about 10 KMS from the main Mahabaleshwar market, accessible via the Old Mahabaleshwar Road. The road up to the parking lot is motorable. State and private buses reach the Mahabaleshwar bus stand, and from there, local taxis or shared cabs are the only practical way to reach the point.

By Local Transport:: Local taxis (yellow-top) or auto-rickshaws are the primary means of transport from Mahabaleshwar town. Since it's a bit far from the main road, hiring a round-trip taxi that waits is advisable. Horse/Pony rides are also available for the final stretch from the parking area to the main viewpoint.
